The Junior Activities Nipper program provides fun and educational surf activities for 5-13 year olds building on Surf Ed and Life Saving skills which provide fun, friendship and a strong foundation to become a Lifesaver. Our junior programs are focused around fun and learning, a child's best is always enough. The goals of the Nipper program are health, improvement and good sportsmanship.
All coaches, age group managers and helpers are required to have a Working With Children Check, information regarding the check can be found above on this page.

Training for Life Saving awards is completed at the Lifesaving club. Lifesavers patrol within teams from November - April on a roster of weekends and public holidays.
Once qualified, you will be allocated to a Patrol Team where you will work with a core group of 5 or more people on your team's rostered patrols. You also have the option to volunteer for additional days with other teams, to get to know more members and to gain extra experience.
We ask our patrollers to complete a minimum of 25 patrol hours for us each season. Lifesavers are also required to maintain their knowledge and fitness levels and to undergo an annual proficiency assessment of their current patrolling award.
